Personalities Shine Through

Elle and Piper have finally become interested in riding bikes. Funny thing is that their bikes are too small for them now. Elle received hers from Santa two years ago (She didn't touch it once). Piper got her tricycle a year ago, but she has sprouted quite a bit since then.

Our street is extremely busy so it's safer to ride in the church parking lot at the entrance of our neighborhood. Elle and Piper enjoy their freedom to ride all over without hearing Mommy telling them to "be careful."

When they race, Elle's knees hit the handle bars and Piper's crank is so small that she gets nowhere. Piper's knees look like pistons in an engine...up, down, up, down. And oh how she gets frustrated because she is trying with all her might and she never wins.

There is a slight ramp under the carport at the church. Piper rides full force up the ramp, turns around and pedals, pedals, pedals to get the most out of the decline. Elle daintily and gracefully rides up the ramp, gets off her bike, turns it around and then walks it down.

Is that not a perfect example of their personalities??!! It makes me laugh and love them so much.
