The girls had a "Texas" Day at school recently. It was an entire day filled with rotations of activities learning about the German, Mexican and Cowboy influences on Texas. The girls made candles, tortillas, tissue paper flowers, maracas; they got to see a real chuck wagon and horses. They got to play all kinds of games too.
Before the festivities began, Elle's grade level had a program where they sang Texas songs. She was so excited.
I helped out with some of the activities so I only was able to snap a couple of pictures.
