River Barge and The Alamo

Just so you know, we've had nothing but 100 degree days since the beginning of June. That means it's hot even at 10:00 in the morning. So, when you take a look at these pictures and ask Why do they look like they are melting?, you'll know why.

Pa, Ma, Tita, Madeline and the kids and I ventured to downtown San Antonio to ride the river barge and visit the Alamo. It was a bit sticky to say the least.

Nothing like a stop at Casa Rio to refresh our wilting bodies.

Back at home just in time for naps...in the cool air conditioning...now we're talking.
