I have now been administering an antibiotic to one of my children for 36 days almost in a row minus a day or two here and there.
Somehow we have gotten a very nasty strain of strep. It started with Elle in early February. She finished her 10 day antibiotic on a Friday. She started feeling bad again on Monday and by Tuesday, we were back in the doctor's office and began a "super" dose of antibiotic. Elle finished that 10 day course and five days later Piper came down with strep. Piper completed her 10 day course of antibiotic and the very next day Cannon was at the doctor's office for Scarlet Fever (same strep bug with a rash).
Cannon has four more days to go on his meds and we just got back from the doctor's office with Piper again...confirmed strep throat!
Every toothbrush, toothpaste tube, Chapstick, Carmex, etc. is going in the trash and everyone will have their own tube of everything!
We thank God for doctors and the ability to afford one and we praise God for antibiotics. Please pray the kids will get rid of this bug and for no more relapses.

Sorry to hear about all the illnesses. We are getting over croup here in our house. No fun. It makes you want to purchase a giant Lysol wipe to slather your house with from roof to foundation.
